Πλοκή (μετάφραση από  ξένο ιστολόγιο):

  Ο Ρωμύλος [:Roger Moore], ο ιδρυτής της Ρώμης, συναντά την Δουσία [Scilla Gabel], μία γυναίκα από τη Φοινίκη, και ερωτεύονται, αλλά καθώς δεν υπάρχουν άλλες γυναίκες στη Ρώμη δεν μπορεί να τη φέρει στη Ρώμη.

  O Ρωμύλος αναλαμβάνει την αποστολή να βρει γυναίκες για την κοινότητα των Ρωμαίων πολιτών που είναι όλοι τους άντρες, και έτσι αποφασίζει να αρπάξει τις γυναίκες από τη γειτονική περιοχή των Σαβίνων.

  Όταν γίνεται αυτό ο Ρωμύλος ερωτεύεται την κόρη του βασιληά Τίτου Τάτιου των Σαβίνων, τη Ρέα [:Mylene Demongeot], η οποία όμως είναι παρθένα ιέρεια της θεάς Εστίας.

   Οι Σαβίνοι παλεύουν για να πάρουν πίσω τις γυναίκες τους, αλλά όταν βλέπουν το νεογέννητο μωρό ενός Ρωμαίου, του Λένο [:Marino Mase]  και μίας Σαβίνας, της Λαβίνιας [:Giorgia Moll], τότε ο βασιληάς των Σαβίνων, ο Τίτος Τάτιος [:Folco Lulli] αποφασίζει να σταματήσει τον πόλεμο.

    O Ρωμύλος αφήνει το θρόνο της Ρώμης στον Νουμά [:Petar Dobric] και μπορεί έτσι πλέον να ζήσει μακριά από τη Ρώμη μαζί με τη Ρέα.
