“ Uomini sulla Luna ”

Quella che solamente qualche anno la poteva sembrare l’allucinazione di una mente malata, l’utopia di un visionario, oggi è suscettibile di trasformarsi in realtà: si parla di un viaggio interplanetario come di un avvenimento difficile sì, ma non impossibile.

L’energia atomica, con le sue immense riserve di forza, ha poi spalancato la porta che precludeva il balzo per la conquista dell’infinito. E in America esistono già Agenzie che prenotano i posti sulla prima astronave che saetterà negli spazi siderei.

IL cinema, grande rievocatore di tutti gli avvenimenti della storia, è stato questa volta il fantasioso anticipatore del meraviglioso viaggio.

IL film « UOMINI SULLA LUNA », ideato e realizzato seguendo i criteri squisitamente scientifici che presiederanno alla spedizione allorché verrà realmente effettuata, ci dà il quadro, la narrazione, la cronaca visiva del salto negli abissi celesti. Più che un film, «UOMINI SULLA LUNA» è come una affascinante documentazione che, per la prima volta nella storia della cinematografia, precede l’avvenimento di cui vuol essere lo specchio fedele.

IL film « UOMINI SULLA LUNA » è stato, come già abbiamo detto, sceneggiato con estrema accuratezza scientifica, e tutti gli esterni sono stati ricostruiti su dati astronomici forniti dagli Osservatori di Monte Wilson e di Monte Palomar. I particolari del satellite sono stati eseguiti sulla base di moderne fotografie e dei più completi atlanti lunari.

IL technicolor, magistralmente adoperato, dà alle visioni di un mondo a tutti ignoto, magici, indimenticabili aspetti.

« UOMINI SULLA LUNA » che apparirà fra breve sui nostri schermi è un lavoro che interesserà gli spettatori di qualunque categoria e costituirà per i, nostri figli l’invito alla grande avventura di domani, quella che essi, quasi certamente, potranno vivere.

Αυτό που μόλις πριν από λίγα χρόνια θα μπορούσε να φαίνεται σαν παραίσθηση ενός άρρωστου μυαλού, η ουτοπία ενός οραματιστή, σήμερα είναι πιθανό να μετατραπεί σε πραγματικότητα: γίνεται λόγος για ένα διαπλανητικό ταξίδι, το οποίο ναι μεν είναι δύσκολο, αλλά όχι αδύνατο.

Η ατομική ενέργεια, με τα τεράστια αποθέματα δύναμής της, άνοιξε διάπλατα την πόρτα που εμπόδιζε το άλμα για την κατάκτηση του απείρου. Και στην Αμερική ήδη υπάρχουν πρακτορεία που κάνουν κρατήσεις για θέσεις στο πρώτο διαστημόπλοιο που θα εκτοξευτεί στους απώτατους διαστημικούς χώρους.

Ο κινηματογράφος, ο μεγάλος αφηγητής όλων των γεγονότων της ιστορίας, υπήρξε αυτή τη φορά ο ευφάνταστος προάγγελος του θαυμαστού αυτού ταξιδιού.

Η ταινία «Άνθρωποι στη Σελήνη», που σχεδιάστηκε και υλοποιήθηκε ακολουθώντας αυστηρά επιστημονικά κριτήρια –τα ίδια που θα διέπουν και την πραγματική αποστολή όταν αυτή πραγματοποιηθεί– μας προσφέρει την εικόνα, την αφήγηση, το οπτικό χρονικό του άλματος στα ουράνια βάθη. Το «Άνθρωποι στη Σελήνη», που σύντομα θα εμφανιστεί στις οθόνες μας, είναι ένα έργο που θα ενδιαφέρει θεατές κάθε κατηγορίας και θα αποτελέσει για τα παιδιά μας την πρόσκληση στη μεγάλη περιπέτεια του αύριο — εκείνη που, σχεδόν με βεβαιότητα, θα μπορέσουν να ζήσουν.
