Frances Dee

  

   Discovered by Maurice Chevalier in the Paramount studio restaurant and given the lead in Playboy of Paris [1930 musical comedy film].

   Has since developed into one of Hollywood’s most sought after ingenues.

   Born in Los Angeles on November 26, 1911. Went to Hollywood on holiday from the University of Chicago and broke into pictures as an extra in a picture about university life.
