lacht die Sonne, Beinahe sommerlich warm ist es in den Straßen von Paris. Das
strahlende Wetter hat die Leute aus den Häusern gelodet. Rauschend flutet der
Verkehr durch die schillernde Stadt an der Seine,
Vor einem Geschäft hält ein todschicker
Studebaker, Ein Mann steigt aus. Die junge, betörend schöne Frau am Steuer
bleibt im Wagen zurück.
Sie nimmt ein Kästchen vom Rücksitz, öffnet
es und holt hellblaue Wolle heraus, Stricknadeln und etwas beinahe fertig Gestricktes.

Είναι άνοιξη
του 1956. Από έναν ουρανό χωρίς
σύννεφα χαμογελά ο ήλιος. Σχεδόν καλοκαιρινή ζέστη επικρατεί στους δρόμους του
Παρισιού. Ο λαμπερός καιρός έχει βγάλει τον κόσμο από τα σπίτια. Ο θόρυβος της
κυκλοφορίας πλημμυρίζει την πολύχρωμη πόλη στις όχθες του Σηκουάνα.
Μπροστά από ένα κατάστημα σταματά ένα
πανέμορφο Studebaker. Ένας άντρας κατεβαίνει. Η νεαρή, σαγηνευτικά όμορφη
γυναίκα στο τιμόνι μένει μέσα στο αυτοκίνητο.
Παίρνει ένα κουτί από το πίσω κάθισμα, το
ανοίγει και βγάζει γαλάζιο μαλλί, βελόνες πλεξίματος και κάτι σχεδόν τελειωμένο
που έχει πλέξει.

It is spring of 1956. From a cloudless sky the sun smiles. It is almost
summer-warm in the streets of Paris. The bright weather has drawn people out of
their homes. The noise of traffic floods the shimmering city on the banks of
the Seine.
In front of a shop a very stylish Studebaker stops. A man gets out. The
young, enchantingly beautiful woman at the wheel remains in the car.
She takes a small box from the back seat, opens it, and takes out
light-blue wool, knitting needles, and something she has knitted that is almost
finished.
Es dauert eine ganze Weile, bis der Mann
wiederkommt, Es dauert so lange, bis die junge Frau mit ihrem Stridtwerk fertig
ist. Sie lächelt, streicht über die Wolle.
Da ist der Mann zurückgefeommen und öffnet
den Schlag des Wagens, Strahlend hält ihm die junge Frau ihr fertiges Werk
entgegen.

Χρειάζεται αρκετή ώρα μέχρι να επιστρέψει ο
άντρας. Τόση πολλή ώρα, ώστε η νεαρή
γυναίκα να τελειώσει το πλεκτό της. Χαμογελά, χαϊδεύει το μαλλί.
Τότε ο άντρας επιστρέφει και ανοίγει την
πόρτα του αυτοκινήτου. Η νεαρή γυναίκα τού δείχνει
λαμπερή το τελειωμένο της έργο.

It takes quite a while until the man comes back. So long, in fact, that
the young woman finishes her knitting. She smiles and strokes the wool.
Then the man returns and opens the car door. Beaming, the young woman
holds out her finished work to him.
„Sieh nur, Robert» sagt sie. „Das erste
Strampelhöschen ist fertig. Angefertigt von Mammi persönlich”.
Der Mann steigt ein und küßt seine Frau
zärtlich auf die Wange, „Du bist die süßeste Frau der Well”, sagt er.
Da gibt die junge Frau Gas. Vor lauter
Freude über das Baby, das sie erwartet, über ihren Mann, über das strahlende
Frühlingsweiter fährt sie zu schnell. Ein Verkehrspolizist hält den Wagen an.
Seine Miene ist amtlich streng.
Aber als er die junge Frau am Steuer sieht,
lächelt er: „Ich kenne Sie doch, Madame . . “

«Κοίτα μόνο, Ρόμπερτ», λέει εκείνη. «Το πρώτο ζευγάρι βρεφικό παντελονάκι είναι έτοιμο. Φτιαγμένο
προσωπικά από τη μαμά».
Ο άντρας μπαίνει στο αυτοκίνητο και
φιλά τρυφερά τη γυναίκα του στο μάγουλο. «Είσαι η πιο γλυκιά γυναίκα του
κόσμου», λέει.
Τότε η νεαρή γυναίκα πατά το γκάζι. Από τη χαρά της για το μωρό που περιμένει, για τον
άντρα της, για τον λαμπρό ανοιξιάτικο καιρό, οδηγεί πολύ γρήγορα. Ένας τροχονόμος
σταματά το αυτοκίνητο. Η έκφρασή του είναι αυστηρά υπηρεσιακή.
Αλλά όταν βλέπει τη νεαρή γυναίκα στο τιμόνι, χαμογελά: «Μα σας γνωρίζω,
μαντάμ…»

“Just look, Robert,” she says. “The first little baby romper is
finished. Made personally by Mommy.”
The man gets into the car and kisses his wife tenderly on the cheek.
“You are the sweetest woman in the world,” he says.
Then the young woman steps on the gas.
Out of sheer joy about the baby she is expecting, about her husband, about the
radiant spring weather, she drives too fast. A traffic policeman stops the car.
His expression is officially stern.
But when he sees the young woman behind the wheel, he smiles: “But I know you,
madame…”
Die 18jährige Marina lacht. Sie hat auch
allen Grund zum Lachen. Andere sind mit 19 Jahren Nachwuchs. Sie ist schon ein
Star, den jeder Polizist auf der Straße kennt. Und sie ist so glücklich, weil
sie bald ihre schönste Rolle spielen wird: Sie wird Mutter. Nicht auf der
Leinwand, sondern im Leben.
Nachwuchs war Marina Vlady schon mit 12
Jahren. Damals spielte sie in dem Film “GEWITTER IM SOMMER”. Alle Fachleute,
die sie auf der Leinwand sahen, prophezeiten ihr eine große Karriere. Und die
Voraussagen bewahrheiteten sich in unwahrscheinlich kurzer Zeit.

αστυνομικός στον δρόμο. Και είναι τόσο ευτυχισμένη, γιατί σύντομα θα παίξει τον
ωραιότερο ρόλο της: θα γίνει μητέρα. Όχι στη μεγάλη οθόνη, αλλά στη ζωή.
Η Marina Vlady (Μαρίνα Βλαντί) ήταν «νέο ταλέντο» ήδη στα 12 της. Τότε έπαιξε στην ταινία “GEWITTER IM SOMMER”
(«Καταιγίδα το Καλοκαίρι»). Όλοι οι ειδικοί που την είδαν στη μεγάλη οθόνη τής
προφήτευσαν μια μεγάλη καριέρα. Και οι προφητείες επαληθεύτηκαν σε απίστευτα
σύντομο χρόνο.

The 18-year-old Marina laughs. And she has every
reason to laugh. Others are merely newcomers at 19. She is already a star,
recognized by every policeman on the street. And she is so happy because she
will soon play her most beautiful role: she will become a mother. Not on the
screen, but in real life.
Marina Vlady was already a “newcomer” at the age of 12. At that time she
acted in the film “GEWITTER IM SOMMER” (“Thunderstorm in Summer”). All the
experts who saw her on the screen predicted a great career for her. And their
predictions came true in an astonishingly short time.
Als Marina 15 Jahre alt war, gab ihr
Regisseur Andre Cayette die Rolle der Liane in dem Film “VOR DER SINTFLUT”. Und
mit dieser Rolle hatte es Marina geschafft. Sie war ein Star. Mit 15 Jahren!
Ihre Eltern batten nie geglaubt, daß aus
Marina etwas Besonderes würde. Dauernd blätterte das Kind in Büchern, die keine
Schulbücher waren. Die Schulzeugnisse waren nicht die besten. Aber wer fragt im
Atelier schon nach Zeugnissen! Dort kommt es darauf an, daß man das gewisse
Etwas hat. Marina hat es.
Wer kann schon im Atelier seinen 17.
Geburtstag feiern bei den Aufnahmen zu seinem 17. Film? Marina konnte es.

σκηνοθέτης Andre Cayette (Αντρέ Καγιέτ) της έδωσε τον ρόλο της Liane (Λιάν)
στην ταινία “VOR DER SINTFLUT” («Πριν τον Κατακλυσμό»). Και με αυτόν τον ρόλο η
Μαρίνα τα είχε καταφέρει. Ήταν σταρ. Στα 15 της!
Οι γονείς της δεν είχαν ποτέ πιστέψει ότι
από τη Marina (Μαρίνα) θα γινόταν κάτι ξεχωριστό. Το παιδί όλο ξεφύλλιζε βιβλία
που δεν ήταν σχολικά. Οι σχολικοί έλεγχοι δεν ήταν οι καλύτεροι. Αλλά ποιος
ρωτά για βαθμούς στο πλατό; Εκεί μετράει να έχει κανείς αυτό το «κάτι». Η
Μαρίνα το έχει.
Ποιος μπορεί να γιορτάσει στο πλατό τα 17α
γενέθλιά του κατά τη διάρκεια των γυρισμάτων της 17ης ταινίας του; Η Μαρίνα
μπορούσε.

When Marina was 15 years old, the director Andre
Cayette gave her the role of Liane in the film “VOR DER SINTFLUT” (“Before the
Flood”). And with this role, Marina had made it. She was a star. At
15!
Her parents had never believed that Marina would become anything
special. The child constantly leafed through books that were not
schoolbooks. Her school grades were not the best. But who asks for report cards
in the studio? There, what matters is having that certain something. Marina has
it.
Who can celebrate their 17th birthday in the studio while filming their
17th movie? Marina could.
Eigentlich hat sie ihren dritten Namen Ihr
erster ist Baronesse Poliakoff-Baidarofl — ihr Vater ist ein tatarischer Fürst Jhr
zweiter Name ist ihr Künstlername, Marina Vlady. Weihnachten 1955 hat sie den
Regisseur Robert Hassein geheiratet und heißt seitdem Madame Hossein.
Ob Madame, Marina oder Baronesse, die Vlady
schuftet wie eine Besessene. Sie ist ehrgeizig, fleißig und trotzdem immer
charmant. Als sie im Sommer 1956 ihr Baby bekommt, ist das ihre erste
Arbeitspause.

της όνομα. Το πρώτο της είναι Baronesse
Poliakoff-Baidaroff (Βαρόνη Πολιάκοφ-Μπαϊντάροφ) — ο πατέρας της είναι Τατάρος
πρίγκιπας. Το δεύτερο όνομά της είναι το καλλιτεχνικό της, Marina Vlady (Μαρίνα
Βλαντί). Τα Χριστούγεννα του 1955 παντρεύτηκε τον σκηνοθέτη Robert Hossein
(Ρομπέρ Οσέν) και από τότε ονομάζεται Madame Hossein (Κυρία Οσέν).
Είτε Madame (Κυρία), είτε Marina (Μαρίνα), είτε Baronesse (Βαρόνη), η Vlady (Βλαντί) δουλεύει σαν μανιακή. Είναι φιλόδοξη, εργατική κι όμως πάντα γοητευτική.
Όταν το καλοκαίρι του 1956 αποκτά το μωρό της, είναι η πρώτη εργασιακή της
παύση.

In fact, she uses her third name. Her first is Baronesse
Poliakoff-Baidaroff. Her father is a Tatar prince. Her second name is her stage
name, Marina Vlady. At Christmas 1955 she married the director Robert Hossein,
and since then she has been called Madame Hossein.
Whether Madame, Marina, or Baronesse, Vlady works like someone
possessed. She is ambitious, hardworking, yet always charming. When she has her
baby in the summer of 1956, it is her first break from work.
Doch die Pause ist nur kurz. Bald steht sie
wieder vor der Kamera. Doch ihr geht es dabei weder um Ruhm noch um Geld. Es
ist einfach ihre Leidenschaft. Sie muß tanzen, Theater spielen, filmen. Ohne
das fühlt sich die junge Frau mit den verträumten Mandelaugen und dem exotisch
geschnittenen Gesicht nicht wohl.

Όμως η παύση είναι σύντομη. Σύντομα βρίσκεται πάλι μπροστά από την κάμερα. Αλλά
δεν το κάνει ούτε για τη δόξα ούτε για τα χρήματα. Είναι απλώς το πάθος της.
Πρέπει να χορεύει, να παίζει θέατρο, να γυρίζει ταινίες. Χωρίς αυτά, η νεαρή
γυναίκα με τα ονειροπόλα αμυγδαλωτά μάτια και το εξωτικά σχηματισμένο πρόσωπο
δεν νιώθει καλά.

But the break is brief. Soon she is standing in front of the camera
again. Yet she does it neither for fame nor for money. It is simply her
passion. She must dance, act on stage, make films. Without these things, the
young woman with the dreamy almond-shaped eyes and the exotically cut face does
not feel well.
Ihr nächster Film heißt “DIE BLONDE HEXE”,
Marina Vlady spielt darin ein beinahe märchenhaftes Mädchen, eine Rolle, die
ihr auf den Leib geschrieben zu sein scheint. Kein Wunder, daß sie sich besonders
darauf freut. Denn nicht immer bekommt sie Rollen, die so gut zu ihr passen.
Aber gerade dadurch beweist sie ihr großes Können. Sie meistert alle ihr
gestellten Aufgaben mit geradezu unwahrscheinlicher Präzision. Sie kann einfach
alles und begeistert damit nicht nur ihr Publikum, sondern auch ihre Kollegen,
die sie lieben und verehren, sowohl als Menschen als auch als Schauspielerin.
Wenn sie erscheint, dann hat alles Augen nur noch für sie.

Η επόμενη ταινία της ονομάζεται “DIE BLONDE
HEXE” («Η Ξανθιά Μάγισσα»). Η Marina Vlady (Μαρίνα Βλαντί) υποδύεται σε αυτήν
ένα σχεδόν παραμυθένιο κορίτσι, έναν ρόλο που φαίνεται να έχει γραφτεί ειδικά
για εκείνη. Δεν είναι λοιπόν περίεργο που τον περιμένει με ιδιαίτερη χαρά.
Διότι δεν παίρνει πάντα ρόλους που της ταιριάζουν τόσο καλά. Αλλά ακριβώς έτσι
αποδεικνύει τη μεγάλη της δεξιοτεχνία. Αντιμετωπίζει όλες τις απαιτήσεις που
της τίθενται με σχεδόν απίστευτη ακρίβεια. Μπορεί απλώς τα πάντα, και με αυτό

Vlady plays an almost fairy-tale-like girl, a role that seems to have been
written especially for her. No wonder she is looking forward to it so much. For
she does not always receive roles that suit her so well. But it is precisely
through this that she proves her great talent. She masters all the tasks set
before her with almost unbelievable precision. She can simply do everything,
and in doing so she delights not only her audience but also her colleagues, who
love and admire her both as a person and as an actress. When she appears, all eyes turn to her alone.
Marina Vlady ist Künstlerin vorn Scheitel
bis zur Sohle. Vielleicht legt sie deshalb keinen Wert auf mondäne Kleidung. Am
liebsten trägt sie Blue Jeans und einen dicken geraniumfaebenen Rollkragenpullover.
Nur etwas macht Marina Kummer. Das
Auswendiglernen der Rollen. Aber was bleibt ihr anderes übrig, als zu büffeln!

Marina Vlady is an artist from head to toe. Perhaps that is why she
places no value on fashionable, worldly clothing. She prefers to wear Blue
Jeans and a thick geranium-colored Rollkragen sweater.
Only one thing troubles Marina: memorizing her roles. But what else can
she do except cram!
Ihr Vater, Fürst Poliakoff-Baidaroff, reibt
sich vergnügt die Hände. „Siehst du", sagt er, „früher, als du noch zur
Schule gingst, wolltest du nicht. Heute mußt du."
Und manches Mal, wenn ihr das Auswendiglernen
allzuviel Kummer macht, geht sie von ihrem Arbeitszimmer in das Kinderzimmer.
Dann steht dort kein Star und auch eigentlich keine junge Mutter. Sie sieht aus
wie die große Schwester des kleinen Babys.

της στο παιδικό δωμάτιο. Τότε εκεί δεν στέκεται ούτε μια σταρ ούτε στην
πραγματικότητα μια νέα μητέρα. Μοιάζει με τη μεγάλη αδελφή του μικρού μωρού.

she goes from her study to the nursery. Then no star is standing there, nor
really a young mother. She looks like the big sister of the little baby.
