Knef ist nicht für
Halbheiten. Sie arbeitet wie eine Besessene, wenn sie sich ein Ziel gesteckt hat. Für die „Hildegarde Neff-Show“ im BBC-
Fernsehen, eine 60-Minuten-Sendung am 23. August, in der sie im Alleingang
singen, tanzen und spielen wird, hat sie in Berlin eisern trainiert. Täglich
bis zu sechs Stunden übte sie mit dem dänischen Ballettmeister Jan Borall, war
für andere Dinge kaum zu sprechen und verriet FILMREVUE nur zwischen Tür und
Angel, daß sie im Herbst vielleicht wieder in Deutschland drehen wird: eine
französische Komödie, die Charles Regnier übersetzt hat und wahrscheinlich auch
inszenieren wird. Dazu Regnier: „Diese Frau ist eine selten glückliche Mischung
von Sex und Esprit. Mit ihr einen Film zu inszenieren, wird immer ein Ereignis

Η Κνεφ δεν είναι για μισές δουλειές. Δουλεύει
σαν να είναι στοιχειωμένη όταν έχει θέσει έναν στόχο. Για την «Hildegarde
Neff-Show» στο BBC, μία εκπομπή 60 λεπτών που θα προβληθεί στις 23 Αυγούστου,
στην οποία θα τραγουδήσει, θα χορέψει και θα παίξει μόνη της, έχει προπονηθεί
σκληρά στο Βερολίνο. Κάθε μέρα, μέχρι και έξι ώρες, έκανε πρόβες με τον Δανό
χορογράφο Γιάν Μποράλ, και ήταν δύσκολο να την βρει κανείς για άλλες
συζητήσεις.
Το μόνο που κατάφερε να αποκαλύψει στη «FILMREVUE» μόνο «ανάμεσα από την πόρτα και
το παράθυρο», ότι ίσως το φθινόπωρο να ξαναγυρίσει στη Γερμανία: μία γαλλική
κωμωδία, που ο Σαρλ Ρενιέ έχει μεταφράσει και πιθανότατα θα σκηνοθετήσει
κιόλας. Σχετικά με αυτή την ταινία, ο Ρενιέ δήλωσε: «Αυτή η
γυναίκα είναι ένα σπάνιο μείγμα σεξ και πνεύματος. Να σκηνοθετήσεις μια ταινία
μαζί της, πάντα θα είναι ένα γεγονός!»

For the "Hildegarde Neff-Show" on BBC, a 60-minute program airing on
August 23, in which she will sing, dance, and act solo, she has been training
rigorously in Berlin. Up to six hours a day, she practiced with Danish ballet
master Jan Borall, and it was almost impossible to get her for other matters.
She only
managed to reveal to FILMREVUE between the door and the frame that she might be
returning to Germany in the fall: a French comedy, translated by Charles Regnier,
who will probably also direct it. Regarding this project, Regnier said: “This
woman is a rare mix of sex and wit. Directing a film with her will always be an
event!”
